Job Description
Based in India, as Sales – Assistant Manager you will be responsible for identifying,
developing and closing new business opportunities.
You will have complete responsibility for your customer relationships and will be held
accountable for total account sales, margins and overall relationship status. Reviewing micro
market analyses, you will determine customer needs, sales volume potential, and pricing
schedules that will meet the company’s goals. Other responsibilities include
• To identify selected prospective clients, target client contact, manage initial contact,
building relationships with key contacts then proactively supporting the closing of
agreements to secure profitable revenue.
• To research and understand potential client needs in targeted industry sectors consider
solutions and turn these into powerful and inspiring briefs
• Develop new business through existing clients
• Develop new business through research, prospecting and networking
• Support the development of presentations and business development tools

Qualifications & Characteristics
A highly reliable individual with enthusiasm, service orientation, and attention to detail is
required, combined with excellent organization and communication skills. You will have
these qualifications:
• A bachelor degree in business/commerce and MBA in Marketing can get an advantage
• At least 4 years of successful consultative sales experience involving promoting and
selling
• Identify and target potential clients to expand the company’s customer base.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
• Exposure in dealing with key decision makers from FMCG / FMCD will be an advantage
• Experience managing and closing intricate sales with multiple decision-makers
• Skills in negotiating pricing of complex offerings
• Comfort creating sales and marketing materials and presenting in public
• High motivation and intelligence with expert interpersonal and oral/written
communication skills
• Availability for domestic travel (up to 50%)
• Basic knowledge of FMCG industry market, key players, distribution channels,
government agencies (national, provincial and local) critical to effective anti-fake
program
• Experience in the Loyalty/ Brand rewards industry
