Job Title: Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV

Location: Mumbai | Experience Level: 3-8 Years

Department: Implementation Team

Reports To: Delivery Manager / Sr. FC

Position Summary:

Robosoft Solutions is looking for an experienced and hands-on Functional Consultant with 3-8 years of

core implementation experience on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) or Microsoft

Dynamics NAV (Navision). This role is ideal for candidates who have led end-to-end implementations and

are capable of managing functional delivery independently.

Please note:

Only candidates with pure functional experience will be considered.

Candidates who have only worked in in-house environments (single-organization

implementations) or primarily on report development/customization will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage end-to-end delivery of large and multiple small/mid-sized implementation

projects.

Act as the single point of contact for client engagements on assigned projects.

Handle day-to-day coordination with offshore teams for both functional and technical aspects of

implementations.

Conduct detailed requirement studies, gap analysis, and fit-gap workshops.

Configure and implement modules using Microsoft’s standard implementation methodology and

best practices.

Prepare and review all core documentation including:

o Functional Requirement Document (FRD)

o Functional Design Document (FDD)

o Training Manuals

o User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts

Conduct user training sessions, support UAT cycles, and ensure business users are aligned with

system capabilities.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central

(must have worked on versions from NAV 2009 to D365 BC).

Must have worked with multiple client organizations — experience limited to a single in-house

implementation is not acceptable.

Must have successfully completed at least 2–3 full life cycle implementations, including:

o General Ledger

o Accounts Payable / Receivable

o Fixed Assets

o Budgeting & Cash Flow

o Inventory, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing

Solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics implementation methodology.

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with business users and

stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

Exposure to additional modules and integrations such as:

o VAT, HR, Payroll

o LS Retail, Microsoft CRM

Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Platform, and related Microsoft ecosystem tools is a plus.

Functional knowledge of regional statutory compliance (e.g., UAE VAT) is advantageous.
