Job Title : Senior Functional Consultant Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV
Location : Mumbai | Experience Level : 8+ Years
Department : Implementation Team
Reports To : Delivery Manager
Key Responsibilities :
– Lead and manage end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including large-scale and multiple small to mid-sized engagements and change requests.
– Act as the single point of contact for client interactions, ensuring smooth coordination and communication across all stakeholders.
– Work closely with clients to conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and translate business needs into functional configurations in Business Central/NAV.
Configure and implement modules including :
– General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets
– Budgeting, Cash Flow, SCM, Inventory
– Manufacturing & Production Planning
– Execute projects following Microsofts implementation methodology and best practices.
– Prepare and review project documentation including :
– Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
– Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
– Training Manuals & UAT Scripts
– Conduct User Training, UAT workshops, and ensure proper application configuration aligned with business needs.
– Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional requirements are clearly understood and delivered
accurately.
– Provide post-go-live support and process enhancements.
– Mentor and guide junior consultants, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.
– Support pre-sales activities such as requirement scoping and product demonstrations.
Required Experience & Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
– 8+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems, with at least 5+ years in Business Central/NAV.
– Experience working across versions from NAV 2009 to D365 Business Central.
Must have completed at least 46 full life cycle implementations with core functional exposure in :
– Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA)
– Budgeting & Cash Flow
– Inventory, Procurement, Supply Chain
– Manufacturing
– Proficient in Microsofts implementation methodology and ERP best practices.
– Strong documentation and client communication skills.
Preferred Skills :
– Exposure to VAT, HR, Payroll, LS Retail, and Microsoft CRM is highly desirable.
– Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, Office 365, and Power BI is a plus.
– Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV certification preferred.
– Experience in pre-sales and client solutioning is an added advantage.
